Thursday, February 9th

 2:50 p.m.                     Recruits meet graduate students in the lobby of the Residence Inn by Marriott
                                       for transportation or walking to Immunology Department - Room E401
 
3:10 p.m. in E401        Welcome remarks by Dr. Joan Goverman (Chair) and research presentations

y Dr. Michael Gerner and graduate student, Annelise Snyder – Oberst Lab 
4:00 - 5:40 p.m.           Poster Session and Wine & Cheese Reception – SLU Building C Lobby 
5:45 p.m.                      Transportation in minivans or walk to dinner at Cuoco 
6:00 p.m.                      Dinner with current graduate students at Cuoco, 310 Terry Ave. N., Seattle 
~8:00 p.m.                    Return to the Residence Inn by Marriott – transportation provided

 Friday, February 10th

Prior to 7:45 a.m.      Continental Breakfast at the hotel for recruits 
7:50 a.m.                     Recruits meet graduate students in the lobby of the Residence Inn by Marriott
                                      for transportation or walking to the Immunology Department – Room E401
 
8:10 a.m. in E401       Graduate Program overview by Dr. Ram Savan – faculty advisor for
                                      Immunology graduate students
 
9:00 - 9:10 a.m.          Break 
9:10 - 11:25 a.m.        Interviews with faculty at various locations in E Building 
11:30 a.m.                   Recruits meet in E Building Lobby for transportation to Ivar’s Salmon House 
12:00 p.m.                   Lunch with current graduate students at Ivar’s, 401 NE Northlake Way, Seattle 
~2:00 p.m.                   Tours conducted at South Lake Union and affiliate research facilities 
~4:00 p.m.                   Return to Residence Inn by Marriott – free time until 5:45 p.m. 
5:45 p.m.                     Recruits meet in the lobby of the hotel for transportation to dinner 
6:30 p.m.                     Dinner with faculty and graduate students at the home of Dr. Edward Clark
                                      on Mercer Island – transportation provided
 
~9:00 p.m.                   After-party FOR CURRENT GRADUATE STUDENTS AND RECRUITS ONLY

 

Saturday, February 11th

There are no activities scheduled for Saturday except for travel for out of town recruits.
