Autumn York published in Nature!
Congrats to Autumn York on her new paper published in Nature this month. This study supports the idea that fatty acid homeostasis in innate immune cells serves as a key regulatory node to control pathologic inflammation. It further suggests that metabolic correction of “very long chain fatty acid” homeostasis could be an important strategy to normalize dysregulated inflammation caused by the absence of IL-10. Autumn continues to investigate the relationship between the regulation of fatty acid metabolism and inflammation in her own lab and is currently looking for interested students and post-docs to join her!
