Congratulations, Natalie Thulin – F31 Award Recipient!
Natalie is a graduate student in the Hamerman lab. She was awarded an F31 Award to investigate signals that contribute to disease development and inflammatory macrophage differentiation in a model of the autoimmune disease Macrophage Activation Syndrome. She hopes that understanding the development and function of inflammatory macrophages, as well as their contribution to disease development, will lead to better treatments of, and preventative measures for, autoimmune disease. She also hopes that this work will provide her with experience and training for an exciting career in research science. Congratulations, Natalie!
